Scarborough International was established in 1968 and is situated in one of Northern England’s most beautiful locations on the Yorkshire coast..

The original School, an attractive 19th century building, is ideally located in this unspoilt coastal resort as it is within a ten minute walk from the town centre. There are many and varied facilities in the local area ranging from fine restaurants, cafes, typical English pubs, a modern shopping centre, banks, exchange bureaus, supermarkets, banks and post offices.

There is an extensive range of courses on offer to suit all needs and requirements. Our clients choose from a popular number of learning options which include work based, intensive and one-to-one courses as well as vocational and improvement classes. These are all conducted and delivered in a supportive, welcoming and professional atmosphere designed to provide our clients with a rewarding experience of their stay in Scarborough.

Scarborough International School of English will now be running from two centres.

Cheswold Hall, Adult Centre, will be providing courses specifically aimed at adults and has been updated with the latest technology to allow students to get the most out of their course.

• New IT suite with top class facilities
• Interactive Whiteboards
• New software to enhance the learning experience
• Library with the latest books/materials to provide a balance of reading and listening

Scarborough International School, Young Learner’s Centre, based at Scarborough College will provide vacation courses for teenagers and juniors. Scarborough International School of English can provide young learners with a wide variety of teaching experiences and activities, facilities include:

• Top class sporting facilities ( tennis courts, football and all weather pitches)
• Excellent IT resources including extensive use of laptops, IT suites and interactive whiteboards.
• Spacious cafeteria and canteen
• "Cinema Club" in the event of rainy days!

All vacation courses are available on selected dates in April, July and August.
